Shopping at Tesco - Don't forget your Clubcard !

Click to apply for your Clubcard!
Tesco product is sometime more expensive than other supermarket but they do have a great loyalty schemes. If you have a clubcard with them you can earn 2 points for every pound you spend. You will get your clubcard statement every 3 months if you have more than 150 points and this statement do come with money off voucher and also extra points voucher. Sometime the store where you usually shop also send you money off voucher if you do not shop at their store for a long time. The best money off voucher that I get from them was save £10 pound when you spend £30. Some voucher are also print out at the cashier till when you pay for your shopping. Yesterday I got save £1 when you buy any Bold laundry product and free McCain Sweet Potato voucher. Tesco also have promotion where you can get more points when you buy certain product. Current promotion is you get extra 200 points when you buy any 2 printer inks.

The best thing about clubcard points is not only you can use your points to buy product instore, you also convert it to deals voucher and this give your 4 times of the value of your points. If you spend £50 per month at Tesco for three months without buying any product with extra points, you will get 300 points when you get your statement. For this 300 points, you can convert it to £12 deal voucher which can be used for days out, restaurants, cinema, hotels and many more. You can check all the list of Clubcard rewards here.

I shop regularly at Tesco and to date have use my clubcard points for hotel in London, lots of ticket for days out including to Blackpool Tower, Legoland Discovery in Manchester, steam boat cruise in Lake District, Camera Obscura in Edinburgh and caravan holiday in Paris!

And also in Tesco, if you come near to their closing time, you will see their staff reducing fruits, vege , meat and packed food for up to 90% from their original price. The product that they are reducing are the one with the Best Before Date end that day. A lot of this food are still in good condition. A few days ago I bought their pizza for 9p which is reduced from £1.80. Not only Tesco are reducing their product near to their closing time but all the other big supermarket are doing it too. You just need to know where to look and the correct time to come.

Hope this help !
